Welcome to the official Pre-Release event for Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy. Players will step into the worlds of the beloved Final Fantasy RPG series’ sixteen mainline games. They’ll cast powerful spells, call upon classic summons, and even visit their favorite locations on the back of a Chocobo. Countless elements from the games are here for players to weave together their own stories.
Each participant will receive a pre-release kit at random containing 6 Final Fantasy Play boosters, 1 pre-release promo from Final Fantasy, 1 spindown Life Counter, 1 information sheet for deckbuilding & 1 cardboard deck box..
Event & House Rules
Friday Pre-Release
- Participation fee is 45 € per player.
- The event will go through up to 4 rounds of Swiss play.
- Each round will last for 55 minutes.
- The event will be capped at 40 people.
- Deck building will begin at 18:15 sharp. Please let us know in case of late arrivals.
- Drinks & snacks are available on location and outside sources are not allowed.
- All players are required to join all events via the Companion app – 562DV87
Prizes
- 1 Final Fantasy Play Booster per player will be added to the prize pot and divided up among the TOP 8 finalists.
- Each player will receive 1 Final Fantasy play booster as a door prize.
- Promotional items will be given out as door prizes as well as for the final standings.
Saturday Pre-Release
- Participation fee is 45 € per player.
- The event will go through up to 5 rounds of Swiss play.
- Each round will last for 55 minutes.
- The event will be capped at 34 people.
- Deck building will begin at 13:15 sharp. Please let us know in case of late arrivals.
- Drinks & snacks are available on location and outside sources are not allowed.
- All players are required to join all events via the Companion app – 7G2DPYV
Prizes
- 1 Final Fantasy Play Booster per player will be added to the prize pot and divided up among the TOP 8 finalists.
- Each player will receive 1 Final Fantasy play booster as a door prize.
- Promotional items will be given out as door prizes as well as for the final standings.
Sunday Pre-Release – 2-Headed Giant
- Participation fee is 45 € per player.
- The event will go through up to 5 rounds of Swiss play.
- Each round will last for 55 minutes.
- The event will be capped at 16 people.
- Deck building will begin at 13:15 sharp. Please let us know in case of late arrivals.
- Drinks & snacks are available on location and outside sources are not allowed.
